Arts & Crafts
The Ohio Sauerkraut Festival welcomes over 450 artisans
every year from 30 different states to sell their hand-crafted items. Each year,
craft exhibitors currently in the Festival are given the opportunity to pre-register
for the following year. Approximately 80% of the exhibitors pre-register for
next year's festival, leaving 20% of the spaces to be filled.
The Ohio Sauerkraut Festival is a juried show; the jury committee reviews each booth during the Festival to ensure that only high-quality, hand-crafted items are exhibited. Each year the jury committee reviews all booth space applications, judging each craft exhibitor as to quality, uniqueness, and craft category, which means not all applications received are accepted.

It is the policy of the Festival that food booths are only available to local, non-profit organizations, such as school groups, churches, and civic clubs. We are proud to offer this opportunity to our local organizations, which put their profits to use in countless ways in our community. Many of the foods do indeed contain sauerkraut! Food items include sauerkraut pizza, fudge, donuts, cookies and pies, German sundaes and egg rolls, cabbage rolls and polish cabbage soup, and of course several pork and sauerkraut combinations. Many non-kraut items are also available. |
