Ohio Sauerkraut Festival Cabbage Growing Contest - The weather has cleared and it is time to plant your garden.
When you're choosing plantings for your garden don't forget cabbage plants for the Ohio Sauerkraut Festival Cabbage Growing Contest. This annual event, gives gardeners an opportunity to show off their green thumbs every year. Prizes are awarded for the largest cabbage, the greenest cabbage, the most magnificent cabbage and the most pathetic cabbage. All gardeners are encouraged to plant your cabbages now and enter the event October 11th-12th, 2008 in Waynesville, Ohio.
The Ohio Sauerkraut Festival is held the second full weekend in October every year. This year's dates are October 11th and 12th, 2008. Saturday 9:00 am to 8:00 pm; Sunday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
